Rembering long ago, them having photo booths in drug stores and at the fair. Black and white then (mostly girls I think) would get in with their pals and do goofy stuff for pics .
* That backdrop would have LHS High school alumni, the mascot and this domain LHSGALES.COM
* This photo would be posted to a photo album... say Gales at the fair 2xxx to be shared with your alumni groups.
* Of course when people having their pics share them, those who see em will identify with the mascot and that domain name will lead them directly to your site.
* I registered the domain for 5 years and will transfer it to the alumni if they get froggy.
* Not to trade your cow for magic beans there are lots of things to consider but with green screen any background imagined can be part of the photo
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6t9DeBzNBRY .
* People love having their pics taken with mascots no 😋 so suppose the Gales mascot or suite could be borrowed to walk around the mid-way with an entourage. They would be recognized by people around the county but especially those who went to LHS. Those with em might have a badge, people might want to have their pics taken and of course in the conversation they could tell them about the alumni location at the fair.
The amount to have their pic taken with the background at that location, nothing, It would promote the existence of your group and connect them to the school.
Having pictures made .. that will be on another page.
When at events people are in festive moods, they buy lights, balloons, have their face painted .. they are willing to spend money on things that only last a short time. Photos are memories we can keep and share longer than a tootsie roll.
I knew nothing about the alumni group until 50 years later when I was looking for someone I knew. Guessing there are lots of others like me. The fair would be a great place to publish the group.
It seems the happy birthday song can be sung because of a copyright.. but endless millions do. "You can sing what ever you like where you like as long is it is not for commercial use" Check out youtube.
I am guessing when fans are singing the pledge of legion they are not all in tune.. not the purpose.. but we all a part of this.
Lots of grads continue to go to ball games after they graduate, some have kids n grandkids playing ball or in the band.
Schools usually dedicate a particular game for some
A fun idea I had for years, wonder if at halftime in one home game the coming grads would walk out on the field, band would play and they would sing friends forever... a line or two then all in the stands would join in.
Most of you have phones with the lyrics for the words.
If I know what I know about songs and events, this youtube video would play over n over through out the years.
Guessing dvds might replace or supplement yearbooks, the video could be with it.
